Metro Karate Travel Summer Camps!

2010 Dates:
1st Camp: Thursday, June 24th to Sunday June 27th

2nd Camp: Thursday, August 19th to Sunday August 22nd

Where: Mr. Rockwells cabin in Grand Rapids, MN. We will have an exact itinerary for interested participants and parents.

AGE LIMIT: 8 and above ONLY!

Limited to 12 people!

Cost is $199.00 per participant. Includes all activities, travel, lodging, and meals.

Activities: Safety will be our first priority! We will have special exercises with detailed training on developing teamwork, confidence, discipline and respect for others. We will have karate classes outside. We will have everyone make their own martial arts weapons (Nun chucks). Team and leadership training with trust building activities. We will have kata in the water. Hiking and exploring. Basic water activities. Island Camping, Kayaking, Canoeing, Movies, etc.

Mode of Travel and times: We will leave on Thursday evening at 6pm sharp from the EP location. It is approximately a 3 hour drive. We will return on Sunday at 3pm at the EP location.

Location of cabin & directions. Mr. Rockwell's cell Phone# (612) 309-5038. The cabins are located on Lake Pokegama about 9 miles south of Grand Rapids. Directions are Hwy 169 north to Crystal Springs Road. Then turn left and follow the road to the end and turn left. We are the 3rd right turn and is the only A-frame.
